We drive in our own tour buses towards Björkliden and walk down from beside the beautiful Silverfallet waterfall at Rakkasjokk down towards Lake Torneträsk. The drive takes just a few minutes and the walk is about 300m down a path through the birch trees. We stop and take photos along the way!
Once we reach the beach, we light a fire and, once it is cooked, we eat lightly smoked reindeer meat (which the Samis call 'souvas') and soft drinks.
While we enjoy our meal, we get to appreciate the view out across Lake Torneträsk, which is spectacular. It is a fantastic location.

It is said that you must to see Aurora at least once in your lifetime and, by snowmobile, it is a truly memorable experience!
Join our guides as we drive snowmobiles under the moonlight through Abisko National Park while you look to the skies for the northern lights. We stop as soon as we see it and always have plenty of time for taking photos. Our guides can help you get a good shot, even on a mobile phone! We go as a group.
We stop half way for something warm to drink and to throw a few snowballs.
Along the journey, there is a good chance that we will see reindeer, moose and ptarmigan birds. If the conditions allow it, we can stop at a river or ice cave and see if we can drink some of the water, even in the middle of winter.
